Bulgaria is an amazing country, despite my experiences there being limited. There’s so much I don’t know about it though.  At this moment in time I only know of  a fraction of the good and bad things about the country, but plan on learning more in the future. Even though I’m not Bulgarian by nationality, I have a lot of hope and faith in the country. I know it has it’s problems, but deep in my heart I really would like to be able to see Bulgaria ten or twenty years from now better than they are today, constantly improving.
It’s a weird feeling really; this hope I have for a nation of which I am not a citizen. My first thought is that it is because my lady is from there, but for me it’s more than that. It’s a similar feeling to the hope I have for my own nation of birth. Despite all this it remains. In my limited experiences in the country, I saw so many great things, and some areas that could be improved. Most of all though I saw so much possibility! I know most people wouldn’t think it’s really that important to me, but it is. In my lifetime so far, I went from only knowing the name of a country to having been lucky enough to experience at least a little bit of the culture and people . I have faith that they will continue to grow as so many other nations have done before. I’m eager to see what the future holds for them; my hope is high.
