I’m old enough to know better, still young enough to be driven. So many thoughts and ideas yet all vanish into oblivion as do we all eventually. I’ve experienced a lot in my life, more than some while less than others. Nonetheless the time feels full.

I’ve had so many things I’ve always thought I should write down but never did. This is a least a minimal attempt to do so and preserve some memory of me beyond whatever my time may be.

My decision to start (as well as maintain) this site was out of a sense of caution. If you’re old enough to be around during the earlier internet, you might realize how much has been lost or removed. At least one of the reasons for this is that much of the content of the early internet was published on the platforms owned by others. By creating my own site, I could (hopefully) ensure that something remains, at least potentially a bit longer than would be on a platform owned by someone else. It costs money, but for that money you’re (supposedly) getting a bit more longevity and security. Time will tell if this assumption is true or an error.
